U of T student Maria-Eduarda Martins is one of two Canadian composers selected to participate in this year’s Composer’s Kitchen residency.
Every year, Montreal-based string quartet Quatuor Bozzini selects two composers from Canada and two composers from Europe to participate in a four-month residency. They workshop and premiere the selected composers’ works in Montreal and in Europe, in a different music festival each year.
Maria-Eduarda’s work will be premiered during the prestigious Gaudeamus Muziekweek in the Netherlands, in September 2023.
